Designed as a warm welcoming to this weekend’s British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton is walking around London in a new video he did along with Hugo Boss. Sure, it has marketing all over it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good opportunity to learn more about the Formula One driver’s personal life.
The little walk the F1 Ace takes on the streets of one of his favorite cities in the world sees Hamilton visiting a restaurant where he and his Hugo Boss guest start cooking their own food. Apparently the world renown driver likes to make his own meals when he’s not busy taking the turn at the right moment on the track.

Next stop was The Shard. The 95-store skyscraper in Southwark is the perfect spot in London to visit when you want to show people which are your favorite places in the city. As a short reminder, the Shard London Bridge is currently the tallest building in the European Union. It’s no wonder they went here, considering the viewing gallery and open-air observation deck on the 72nd floor are located at a height of 244.3 meters (802 ft).

There’s also a bit of a family story Lewis Hamilton shares at some point, but we’re not going to ruin that for you. As to the connection between Hamilton and Hugo Boss, we’ll remind you that the German luxury fashion house based in Metzingen is currently one of the apparel sponsors of the Mercedes AMG Petronas team. Ever since this January, the company is the official supplier of Lifestyle and Formal Wear Clothing for the racing team, thus for Hamilton.
