Lewis Hamilton Takes His Thirst for Racing out on a Pagani Zonda

Since Pagani built only 135 Zondas, with even fewer special edition versions of the supercar, it’s pretty obvious there are not a lot of people out there that get to drive one or even see it. Even lesser drivers actually know how to handle the 760 horsepower monster, which is why whenever we learn Lewis Hamilton took his to the road it gets our attention.

Since he still has a couple of weeks off track, it was time for some holiday fun for the two-times F1 champ the other day. Hamilton was also grateful enough to let his fans know about his little Monaco escape posting a picture with the purple dragon on his Facebook page. After all, it was recently rumored Hamilton is thinking to start a rapping career, which means posting pictures with expensive rides on social networks is mandatory.

As opposed to most of the so-called artists out there who are busy getting rich while spitting rhymes on beat, at least Hamilton knows a thing or two about cars (a lot more to be honest). In fact, the Pagani Zonda 760LH was specially built for the British racer and it’s as unique as they get. First thing that catches the eye is it’s body finish with that beautiful purple color, both of the exterior and the interior.

There’s a lot more about the car, however, starting with the manual gearbox instead of the sequential one and, of course, that beautiful 760 horsepower V12 mill. Sure, Hamilton is racing for the Mercedes Team so it’s no wonder he’d go for a supercar that is powered by a Mercedes-Benz AMG engine.
