Lewis Hamilton Posts Image with Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6, Looks Very Tiny by Comparison

The British Formula One driver has posted an image of himself and the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 behemoth on his Facebook page.

After what must have felt like climbing Mount Everest to the diminutive driver, Lewis finds himself aboard the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6. He's ready to have his picture taken, but this isn't just another publicity stunt for his team's parent company, Mercedes-Benz. No, if we're to believe what Lewis has to say, he's actually interested in buying one of these vehicles.

A vehicle that is no longer in production, we should add. Mercedes-Benz AMG only built a limited number of G63 6x6s and they're all accounted for at the moment. Of course, since Hamilton is one of the company's main image vectors, they might find some spare parts in the back of a shelf, enough to make a G63 6x6 just for him. Worst case scenario, they can only come up with a G48 4x5, but, hey, it's still something, right?

If you ask us, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 is not the right car for Hammy. The fact it costs almost half a million euros (over half a million USD) is not that important (to him, at least), what matters is he won't have anywhere to drive it unless he moves to Dubai or joins Curiosity up on Mars.

What's more, it makes him look even smaller than he really is. It's the same thing with dating a model when you're 5'5''. Or 5'9'', in his case. Just because you can do it due to your wealth and status, it doesn't mean it's necessarily the brightest idea.

It would be interesting to see how this thing develops. Our guess is it was just a fluke, and he has absolutely no intention of buying the car. It was just his way of generating traffic on his Facebook page, and generate traffic he did: 692 shares at the time of writing this piece (the post is only five hours old), almost 34k likes and countless commentaries. Most of which read: "they [Mercedes-Benz] should give you one for free." Yeah, you're right, they don't pay him enough.
