Lewis Hamilton Planning to Start a Music Career, Could Team Up With Rapper Drake

Holding two Formula One trophies in his pocket, Lewis Hamilton can easily claim he has accomplished quite a lot already. But for the 30-year old British racing driver there are still a lot of things to do even beyond the track. And since rapper Drake and he are such great palls, the two are now discussing teaming up for a new music project.

Not only is he planning to start a music career, but according to the Irish Mirror, the aspiring rapper has already recorded about 30 tracks already and has even built a recording studio in his home. A source close to the racer says that the two have become quite close lately, which is also why Lewis ended up modeling his clothing line.

The 28-year old rapper owns a record label called OVO Sound, which is currently distributed by Warner Bros. Records. But like most of these artists nowadays, Drake is also trying his chances in other business ventures such as designing clothes and whatnot. In fact, it was just the other day Hamilton posted a couple of pictures with the OVO coat he got from his new friend.

And the friendship seems to be working the other way around too. “Drake’s a huge fan of Lewis’s racing and Lewis looks up to Drake musically. He really listens to what he has to say,” the source explained. Seeing Hamilton rapping along with Drake wouldn’t be the first venture of this sort, but we sure hope the man sticks to what he’s doing best and keeps using his hands only for driving.
