Lewis Hamilton Breaks Up with Nicole Scherzinger

Lewis Hamilton's bad luck did not only struck only in the Italian Grand Prix yesterday, but also in his personal life. According to Great Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper, Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly broken up with the reigning F1 champion prior to the Monza race, which is probably the reason why she was nowhere to be seen in the McLaren garage during the weekend.

Consequently, Scherzinger has also pulled out from the F1 Rocks programme, the Formula One's very music concert at the Singapore Grand Prix two weeks from now. F1 Rocks was launched a few months ago in order to increase the glamour around F1 racing and includes music performances from several artists worldwide.

Scherzinger was not to perform any act two weeks from now, but actually be the host of the entire event, as reported by the aforementioned source. From the multitude of stars invited to take part of the F1 Rocks launch, the most important are Beyonce and Black Eyed Peas.

The last thing Nicole wanted to be doing is anything to do with formula one now – so she immediately pulled out of F1 Rocks,” a source closed to Scherzinger was quoted as saying for the Sunday Mirror.

According to the same source, the main reason why the two decided to part ways last week was because the pop star kept pushing the McLaren driver to get married. Probably inspired by the Jenson Button – Jessica Michibata story (the two announcing they want to get married after the Brawn GP driver will have become champion) the Pussycat Dolls lead singer wanted a fairy tale of her own.

During the Italian Grand Prix, Hamilton made an enormous mistake – that doesn't really characterize him – in the very last lap of the race, while in 3rd place, and crashed his car into the wall. This was only his 4th DNF in 48 F1 starts.
