So here’s a quick time schedule. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was first announced at 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International, right after the release of Man of Steel. Pre-production began later that year, with principal photography starting in May 2014. Ever since, several pictures have leaked, and others were posted by the movie’s director on social networks.

That’s how we managed to get a first look at the Batmobile. The vehicle was welcomed with both good and bad reactions, but it clearly is one of the most successful designs throughout the franchise’s history. The first proper look everybody received was a couple of weeks ago, at this year’s Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas.

After that move, there’s not much left for Warner Bros. to do to promote the caped crusader’s hero ride. However, things are quite different in what is LEGO concerned who apparently have been working on a proper set for a while now. According to Wall Street Journal, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice LEGO set will be unveiled in the same place the production of the movie was initially announced.

Dubbed the LEGO DC Super Heroes Batmobile, the new LEGO set included 306 pieces, two “stud shooters” and opening doors, a new Batman outfit deco, two additional unnamed characters and other vehicle. Although people will have the chance to see it on July 9th, at the San Diego Comic-Con, consumers can purchase only starting January 1st, next year.
