This legend among Vettes won multiple SCCA championships at the hands of Tony DeLorenzo, the son of an ex-GM exec. Among the titles won, noteworthy examples include the 1969 and 1970 GT Class wins in the 24 Hours of Daytona.

The car has been restored to original spec by Kevin MacKay and is in 1971 24 Hours of Daytona livery and can still go down the track, motivated by its 685 horsepower 7.0-liter Chevy big block V8, which comes mated to a Muncie M-22 "Rockcrusher" transmission.

This stunner of a race car should fetch at least a cool million!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
