Here's a nifty mobility project from Dutch manufacturer LEEV: Jack, the electric folding scooter. With cities all around the globe becoming increasingly crowded, light, swift, cheap and convenient transportation is also becoming sought after. And knowing how to blend in functionality and fun, LEEV prepare the Jack, a new and awesome scooter.
Jack operates with a 350W motor which is capable of reaching 25 km/h (12 mph) and comes with a range of 20 km (12 miles). Created for simple moving to work or school, the LEEV Jack can be recharged pretty much anywhere, including the trunk of your car.

With a weight of only 20 kg (44 lbs) and a clever folding design dramatically reducing the space it occupies, the Jack is made in aluminium, has dual disc brakes and can carry a person weighing up to 115 kg (253 lbs).

Scheduled for the second 2013 quarter, LEEV Jack needs whatever financial support you could offer via the European and US support sites SymBid and KickStarter. The Jack will retail for €1,850 ($2,490).
