You probably recall the Oklahoma Tornado-wrecked Mustang we showed you a week ago. Amazingly enough, the pony still had a working engine although the EF5 damaged it beyond recognition.
It turns out the "Built Ford Tough" badge-worthy musclecar belonged to Jack Haden, a long time Mustang enthusiast, who spent recent weeks repairing his house while taking shelter in a hotel with his pregnant wife. Unfortunately, a story that's common for other Oklahoma tornado-affected people as well.
Haden's distress prompted our friends over at AmericanMuscle to join the tornado relief initiative by kickstarting a fund raising project destined for both the OK Strong Relief program and Jack's destroyed Mustang. The plan is to raise at least $14,000, of which 50 percent goes to the OKStrong Disaster Relief, while the other 50 percent will help Jack Haden replace his totaled vehicle. Anything over $14,000 goes entirely to OK Strong.
