The Nissan Juke is the daddy of the tiny crossover segment, where automakers sometimes now offer two separate models. But where does that leave the Juke?
After a million units sold over almost a decade, the Mk1 has been retired, and while its replacement will never be as iconic, it will be a big player. While we may prefer something like the Ford Puma or Hyundai Kona from a design perspective, if you're one of the one million people who've borough a Juke, chances are you're in love right now.

After releasing an in-depth look and photo gallery of the Juke crossover, we decided to take it easy and enjoy a few YouTube videos as well, some of which will be shared at the bottom of this story. Some things about the 2020 Juke just jump out at you, mostly having to do with the design.

This feels very much like a crossover tailored to European demands. It looks premium, has multiple body panels that can be painted a different color and a flush-fitting rear bumper with a tiny overhang. The interior sports air vents from the Audi A3 and a tablet that wouldn't look out of place in a Toyota Corolla. The funkiness is still there too, as the unique speakers integrated into the headrests look like headphones.

The videos also talk about a 422-liter trunk being 20% larger than before. However, that's come at the expense of the AWD system, which the new Juke won't need since it's powered exclusively by a 1-liter turbo engine. We're a little bit worried about that, but maybe Renault's 1.3-liter will offer somewhere in the 130-160 HP area.

The exterior is still a bit polarizing, but there's no denying the cabin is one of the best in this class. You can see anything from soft-touch Alcantara dashboard trim to black-and-white seats in this thing. However, we're worried that it might too expensive to have commercial success, which was probably the case with the Micra hatchback that was also redesigned with the European market in mind.
