According to leaked official Fisker documents quoted on Inside EVs, the Karma’s smaller sibling will have to wait until mid-next year to enter production. Previous information also hinted that the Atlantic might not be built in Delaware after all, but no confirmation was received.
The BMW 3-Series Rival is expected to be built at Fisker’s Delaware plant, if it ever gets built (we are, sadly, a bit skeptical). According to the same official documents, the car will have a combined electric/petrol output of 300hp and emit around 50 g/km of CO2, making it able to do the classic 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) sprint in six and a half seconds.
The Atlantic was supposed to enter production in 2012, with deliveries starting by the end of the year. The Atlantic was put on hold ever since the Delaware plant was put on hold and over €415 ($529) million in loans destined for Fisker and its production plans for its new cars.
