In Australia, for example, the new models will be coming out with more standard features than before, with prices remaining largely unchanged.

The entry level models will be the xDrive20i and xDrive20d that will be coming out with standard features such as bi-xenon headlights, steering wheel-mounted paddles, Bluetooth audio streaming, 18-inch alloys, ambient interior lighting, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera and sat-nav. The petrol model will start at AUD60,900 (a AUD1,900 increase) while the diesel alternative will set you back AUD64,400 (AUD1,300 more than before).

Go up the range a bit and prices increase accordingly. The xDrive28i model now starts at AUD73,400 (AUD755 more) while the fastest X3 in Australia, the xDrive30d will require AUD77,400 (up AUD900) in order for you to be able to drive it off the dealership’s parking lot.

Standard kit on these two includes all the previously mentioned features and surround-view camera system, auto-dimming side mirrors, Harman-Kardon sound system and 19” wheels.
