The slightly retouched version of BMW's E89 Z4 is finally reaching Australia, with prices revised and offering more standard features than before, in 3 available models.
For the Australian market, the customers will have to choose between the sDrive20i, sDrive28i and sDrive35is models. Whilst the first two are fitted with 2-liter turbocharged engines, the latter has a 3-liter unit with 2 extra cylinders.
The sDrive20i has 184 HP and 270 Nm of torque, and will be AUD2,400 more expensive, starting at AUD79,900. However, standard features bring a value plus of AUD9,000.
Standard features include 8-Speed ZF automatic gearbox, rollover protection system, 17-inch alloy wheels with run-flat tyres, heated side mirrors, cruise control with brake function, front and rear parking sensors, bi-xenon headlights, auto-dimming rear view mirror, rain-sensing wipers, leather gear shifter, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, seat heating, Bluetooth with audio streaming, internet connectivity, satellite navigation and 8.8″ colour infotainment display.
The sDrive28i model is cheaper by AUD100 compared to the pre-facelift model, starting at AUD89,900 and comes with even more equipment as standard. Apart from the features listed above, you'll also get 18-inch alloy wheels, sports seats with electric adjustment, 11-speaker HiFi audio, and ambient lighting.
The top of the line model, the sDrive35is with 320 HP and 450 Nm of torque, comes AUD450 cheaper at AUD119,590 and brings M adaptive suspension, 19" M alloy wheels, adaptive lights, M Sport steering wheel, M aero package, keyless entry and engine start.
