Designed by Danish motorcycle builder Uffe Lauge Jensen, the Lauge Jensen motorcycle comes to fulfill every customer’s dreams and wishes, as its creator likes to say. This is because the customer can put his or her personal touch on the design and in this way becomes a co-custom designer.

The frame is a single tube frame with a drop seat with a seating height of only 40 cm (16 inch) above the asphalt. The seat is tailor made for each customer for an enhanced riding comfort.

The engine meets the international Euro 3 Norms in both the USA and Europe. It’s a 1792cc V-Twin air-cooled unit and almost the entire engine from the camshafts to valves and pistons are specially made for Lauge Jensen. Power is rated at 70 horsepower at 4,300rpm and the
bike has a top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph) delivered through a six speed transmission.

The exhausts ends with two separate mufflers with built in catalytic converters. The bike rests on 130/70R 18 and 250/40R 18 tires in the front and back with rim sizes of 3.5 x 18 and 8.5 x 18. The 20-liter (5-gallon) fuel tank offers a range of 500-600km (310-375 miles). Double disc brakes with eight pistons in the front and four in the back provide the stopping power.

The bike comes available in various color schemes, such as black, pearl white, orange, chrome black and recently added blue and red-black combination.

The customer has to pay EUR13,500 Euro (about $18,500) upfront on signing the contract and then is allowed to watch the motorcycle take birth from ground up. If you are Danish, the final price to pay for the bike will be of EUR32,000 (about $44,000). However, those who aren’t will have to pay double.
