Lauge Jensen Kahn Euro4 Custom Bike Is Painfully Awesome

To be honest, it’s hard to pick a topic to start this piece with. In few words, we’re looking at some kind of Rolls Royce motorcycle, if you catch my drift: a bike created by the intriguing Lauge Jensen, further customized by Kahn.

The bike was unveiled at the A. Kahn Design Boutique on the Kings Road, Chelsea, London, UK, with over 120 guests and media attending the spectacular event. Jensen is well-known for the incredible attention he gives to minute details, and the awesome flowing lines of his bikes. Now, having the acclaimed and prized Jensen build quality topped with the exquisite leather work Kahn is famous for should give you a better idea on how cool this machine is.

Since the Kahn machine had to be as clear as it gets that one just simply doesn’t rival Jensen’s bikes, the beast received a heap of bespoke paraphernalia, including custom dials, indicators, instrumentation, end caps, and pretty much anything which could ever be changed to a motorcycle. Atop everything Kahn delivered its impeccable diamond stitched seat to complement a top-drawer bike with top-notch comfort.

Lauge Jensen’s bike is powered by a custom engine which is Euro4-compliant, and this blows everything out of the water so far. The 1,792cc v-twin delivers 100hpo @ 4300 rpm and 140 Nm (103 lb-ft) of torque at 3100, so the bike should ride like a thunderbolt. Top speed is touted around 160 mph (257 km/h), while the mileage is said to be as good as 4.4 l/100 km or 53.4 mpg.

The 6-speed Kahn bike weighs 323 kg (713 lbs) in running order and uses a 130/70R18 63H tire in the front, and a 250/40R18 81V in the rear. Kahn’s email to us ends with a nifty invitation: “the new A. Kahn model and a selection of custom Lauge Jensen bikes will be on display at the A. Kahn Design Boutique at 385/389 Kings Road, Chelsea, so please drop in and enjoy the craftsmanship to its fullest.”
