To say that classic Porsches are enjoying steady growth in restomod popularity is certainly an understatement. Over the past year, we have seen projects pop up from Singer (on more than one occasion), Gunther Werks, Ares Design, or Everrati. Now it’s time for another look at a Porsche 911 restomod from the air-cooled 993 era.
After Gunther Werks introduced us to its stunning 993 Speedster, we thought the company will call it a day and let us focus on that 911 Safari-flavored Singer 911 ACS or the EV take created by the Brits from Everrati.

But they decided to positively surprise us with another of their “one of 25” reinterpretations of the regular Porsche 993 generation, dubbed the Irish Green commission. It’s easy to understand why since it’s greener than a raging Hulk and way more elegant than any Green Lantern CGI suit (to keep the comic book superhero references squarely on the large screen).

It follows the spectacular Mexico Blue 400R build and clearly got us backed against the air-cooled Porsche restomod wall. We love the over-the-top predecessor, but can’t help but slowly fall for the subtler green take that makes us dream of spring every time we check out the lovely exterior and interior pictures tucked in the gallery.

This new special commission has been dressed up in Irish Green on the outside and comes with lots of carbon fiber details as well as contrasting English Tan leather upholstery for the interior. The dual exposed carbon fiber stripes are also joined on the outside by a set of gold-colored Fuchs-style alloys, while Gunther Werks added for the first time a hexagonal-patterned grille to the engine cover.

Speaking of the latter, it harbors the traditional Rothsport Racing-rebuilt four-liter flat-six air-cooled boxer engine massaged to 435 horsepower and 335 lb-ft (454 Nm). It’s going to be a great canyon-carving companion thanks to the uprated brakes from Brembo and the tuned suspension featuring components from Eisenlohr Racing and JRZ Suspension Engineering.
