Three new collections of the famed Bentley Mulliner brand, each center around a particular theme. The Mulliner Nauticis Collection, the Mulliner Skyline Collection, and the Mulliner Miami Collection are all meant to reflect American interests, regions, and tastes.
The company says the Mulliner Nauticis Collection includes four Continental GT V8 Convertibles based on a yachting theme. In addition, the Skyline Collection celebrates Manhattan and that city’s iconic skyline. At the same time, the Miami Collection took its inspiration from Miami’s vibrant art scene, colorful lifeguard stations, and Art Deco architecture.

The Bentley retailer based in Fort Lauderdale commissioned The Nauticis Collection, and it includes four Continental GT V8 Convertibles painted in Aegean Blue and Ghost White. The paint colors are taken from the Mulliner Bespoke range paint range and complemented by bespoke 22” Aegean Blue and Polished face alloy wheels. The bespoke color-matched carbon fiber includes a front bumper splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser and trunk lid spoiler.

The Nauticis interior combines Brunel, Linen, and Portland leather, while the cabin's tonal theme is finished in Piano Linen. An open-pore chevron light veneer highlights the center console.

According to Peter Brandt, Holman Automotive Vice President and General Manager of Bentley Fort Lauderdale, the collection perfectly complements his firm's ethos.

“After intimately collaborating with Mulliner over a few months, our idea to create something truly unique, something that aligned with the Holman Motorcars strategy, and South Florida’s iconic geography and lifestyle began,” Brandt says of the collection. “The end result is a yacht-inspired Mulliner Limited Edition and the result is absolutely breath-taking. This timeless classic further highlights the infinite possibilities and abilities in which to blend art and technology into a unique emotion and experience.”

The Mulliner Skyline Collection includes the Flying Spur, Continental GT Convertible, and Bentayga models, and they say Bentley Manhattan has co-authored a subtle specification for grand touring or travel with family or friends.

The vehicles in this collection are colored in Onyx, a dark black exterior paint applied using hand spraying techniques which are bolstered by the latest robotic technology. The Blackline Specification is a substitution for the vehicle’s usual exterior brightware for a darker alternative to provide “a powerful, contemporary” look and feel.

Mulliner's carbon Styling Specification includes a silver pinstripe edge and 22" black and silver alloy wheels. Silver accents to the interior surround and headrests are mirrored with painted veneer fascias of the dashboard and door waist rails. In addition, silver contrast stitching is used throughout the center of the seats leading to an embroidered Manhattan Skyline image repeated as a chrome overlay on the passenger fascia.

Taking Miami's vibrant art scene, colorful lifeguard stations, and Art Deco architecture as inspiration, the Mulliner Miami Collection includes six Bentley models and features bold exterior paints with Arctica pinstripes. Orange, blue, and lime green exterior paints on the Flying Spur, Continental GT, and Bentayga celebrate the utmost in radiant colors that the Mulliner Design team can offer.

The Flying Spur Miami Edition interior is dominated by a striking two-tone paint-matched piano veneer wrapping around the front compartment and carried through into the rear door pockets with Klein Blue leather, which matches the exterior color. Seating includes contrast stitched quilting, Mulliner embroidery in the headrests, and micro-piping in Klein Blue. Klein Blue leather is also featured on the gear selector, and the lower spoke of the steering wheel, and a 'One of Six' treadplate plaque is included to demonstrate the vehicle's exclusivity.

“The interest is commissioning bespoke vehicles in the marketplace is currently on a high in the Americas. The opportunity to expand inventory offering to customers and present a truly unique experience through the Personal Commissioning Guide is remarkable,” said Mike Rocco, Vice President of Sales & Operations for Bentley Americas. “Our dealers are very involved in each of their local markets and communities with appreciation to maximize the ability to promote Bentley’s bespoke craftsmanship.”

Bentley says the Mulliner Design team has now curated over 1000 bespoke projects since they began work in 2014. The projects include completely unique and coachbuilt projects such as the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar and race car designs as well.

Bentley Mulliner will unveil the suite of bespoke collections for American customers at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the end of October 2021.
