Although vans aren’t the most attractive vehicles, this is not the case of Volkswagen’s Type 2 Kombi van Brazil as it attracted a lot of attention.
This particular vehicle was set to be built in only 600 units but due to high demand, the company came to produce 1,200 units. Yes, it appears that people took quite a liking to the old-school van even if its price was a bit high, around EUR 26,7000/ US 35,600/ BRL 85,000.

We are not at all surprised as the retro vehicle is such an eye-candy and we understand VW’s decision to build this special edition model to commemorate the end production of Kombi vans. So, having the 1,200th model taken to VW Commercial Vehicles museum in Hannover, Germany was to be expected.

Yes, it seems the company wanted to have people delight in the vans’ baby-blue looks and have a taste of its retro vibes for years to come.Concerning the interior, it features the same old-school feeling, incorporating a vinyl interior and curtains that matches the same color found on the outside.

What can we say except for the fact that this 1,200th white/ baby-blue VW T2 Kombi is the perfect way to mark the ending of the VW Kombi.
