Saab Parts UK announced today that it has secured a batch of brand new 9-3 Convertibles in right hand drive belonging to the 2012 model year. These are brand new cars, among the last to roll off the production line in Trollhattan that now lies dormant.
The company plans to sell these cars through an 87-strong national network of Saab authorized repairers.
If you’re interested in buying one, we’ll tell you three trim levels available, more specifically the SE, the Aero and the Independence Edition.
Ironically, the Independence Edition was ordered by Saab’s old owner Spyker to celebrate the Swedish automaker’s independence, after they bought the company from General Motors. Only seven of these rare cars are available in RHD.
The engines available for the 9-3 Convertible include a 1.9-liter with either 160 or 180 horsepower, or a 2.0-liter with 163 or 220 horsepower.
