Be afraid, be very afraid, as the Tesla Model S could soon challenge hypercars in a drag race. We know that off the line, the P85D is faster than a Ferrari 458 Italia due to its monstrous power and torque. But Russian tuners Larte Design announced plans to increase the output all the way to 900 horsepower.
In a recent company statement, Larte said Tesla customers should not be worried, as the 29% power boost will not increase the rate at which the battery is depleted. Reliability is also a non-issue, as the company's brand in California experiences very high temperatures and no problems were reported.
Of course, the added power will be accompanied by a cosmetic refresh, letting all the world know that this Tesla Model S is better than the one owned by Cameron Diaz o Steven Spielberg. Plus, they are even going to be changing the noise produced by the artificial synthesizer.
"Thus, our car does not only have a perfect technical equipment but is also very emotional," says Larte CEO Alexey Yanovskiy.
We've experienced what Larte are capable of doing with the Model S during this year's Top Marques in Monaco. There, they presented the Elizabeta body kit that you can check out in the photo gallery below.
The package is made of carbon fiber and includes new bumpers, skirts, and diffusers. Lowered suspension, an F1-style brake light and larger alloy wheels complete the exterior makeover. Meanwhile, the interior is dressed in Nappa leather and Alcantara.
We'd call "Elizabeta" the Brabus of electric car tuning, so it's only natural that a Rocket version with supercar-terrorizing performance existed.
