This year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance marked the debut of the outrageous Laraki Epitome, a 1,750 HP-powered piece of machinery.
Developed by yacht builder Abdesslam Laraki, the supercar is powered by the same 7.0-liter V8 found in the Corvette C6 that's been fitted with twin turbochargers. Fueled by 91-octane gasoline, it can deliver 1,200 HP, but the output goes up to 1,750 HP once the mill is fed with 110-octane fuel.
Laraki plans to build only nine examples of this crazy carbon fiber-bodied supercar and sell them for around $2 million. It's obviously not cheap, but we bet there are a lot of wealthy folks out there willing to pay the price.
One thing's for sure, that enormous V8 sound like all hell is about to break loose. Just scroll below to hear it roar.
