As numerous automobile companies, Land rover has decided to expand its kingdom and has joined forces with Barbour, to launch the “Barbour for Land Rover” collection. In case you don’t know that much about Barbour, it is a famous brand well know for its weatherproof clothing. We’re talking about quilted jackets, motorcycle jackets, waxed jackets as well as casual clothing and even country gear.
So, it appears that will be seeing a new collection soon enough, the clothing brand being now influenced by modern Land Rovers. The said collection will be launched this Autumn and will come to feature a wide range of quilted gilets, jackets plus various wax and wool knits. This isn’t all, Barbour bringing also numerous accessories and even luggage inspired by the Rover vehicles.
Both companies are excited, Robin Colgan, Land Rover Global Brand Director saying that “this partnership fits perfectly with the Land Rover brand; both marques are revered for their all-terrain and all-weather resilience allowing customers to go about their business whatever the conditions.”
Moreover, it seems that he has faith in Barbour and is certain that the said company will “produce clothing which will draw from both brand’s rich heritage and shared understanding of how style and functionality work together to culminate in products which are sophisticated, capable, durable and reliable.”
This certainly has attracted our attention and we can’t help but wonder what kinds of clothes will they bring men as well as women from a design point of view.
