We've learned from an Autonews Europe post that the waiting list for the new RR Sport model is about nine months. And despite having gone on sale at the start of 2013, the full-size Range Rover is six-months delayed.

Order intake globally is almost 40 percent above JLR's original planning base case," says Max Warburton, author of a study conducted by Bernstein Research on the subject.

Demand has been especially high in China, where some customers are paying huge premiums to receive their cars faster.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
