Land Rover is recognizing that half of Land Rover drivers in the UK also happen to own dogs, which they love to take outside, and it’s coming to meet their needs with a smart, 5-star Pet Pack.
Pricing for the packs starts at £360 and goes all the way up to £887, depending on what you want it to include. You can buy the items separately or as a package, but they work best as a whole, saving you time and promising maximum comfort for your pooch. Plus, you’re guaranteed to have less of a mess in the car if you use it.

Each Pet Pack includes a foldable pet carrier, a spill-resistant water bowl, a quilted load space liner (that one is more for the sake of the car, as it protects against paw prints), a foldable access ramp ideal for older or sick dogs, and even a portable shower.

Considering that studies have revealed that dogs who travel by SUV often, and who climb down from the trunk on their own, are more prone to injury and to weaker articulations, the ramp can be used for healthy pooches, too – more as a prevention, if anything.

The shower has a capacity of 6.5 liters and can be used either to wash the dog after a muddy walk or a bike, or to rinse a swimsuit after surfing.

The new range of pet accessories, meant to enhance canine comfort and to encourage dog owners to spent time with their pooches even when they’re driving by removing the “mess” factor out of the equation, is suitable for the Discovery Sport, Discovery, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover.

“Land Rover is all about enjoying the great outdoors and that goes hand-in-hand with dog ownership for many customers,” Finbar McFall, Product Marketing Director, says.

“Our customers told us that the comfort of their dogs on car journeys is crucial. They are part of the family and we recognize that. Our new Pet Packs will allow dogs to travel in real comfort and make journeys simpler and more relaxing for animals and at the same time protect the inside of owners’ vehicles,” McFall adds.
