British customizers Kahn Design have released photos and details of their latest project, a short wheelbase Land Rover Defender Pick Up finished in pale Keswick Green and bright yellow.
Knowing that the current LR Defender is not going to be around for much longer makes every encounter we have that little bit more special. But the truck is also special for the way it's been customized.

Like one of those Japanese street racers, the 4x4 received a widebody kit that's riveted onto the existing panels. Kahn have also installed their custom X-Lander grille, fender vent mesh and a stainless steel hood with a big bulge on top of it.

The vehicle rides on new 1939 Defend Retro Dish wheels that have been painted in bright yellow, along with the steel protective plate at the front. This is in stark contrast to the overall paintjob, done in a traditional Keswick Green tone that Defenders are well known for.

Around the back, Kahn installed one of their twin crosshair exhaust systems that are integrated into the upper part of the mud flaps. As for the cabin, it's unashamedly sporty, as twin racing-style Sports GTB bucket seats with integrated headrest have been installed. Looking like they've been stolen off an Audi RS6, they are covered in quilted black leather and have a special tread embossed down the middle.

The Kahn-customized Defender Pick Up also has heavy-duty front & rear floor mats, billet steering wheel, machined aluminum pedals and detailing in Alcantara. Despite this, you are never going to mistake this for a racing SUV, because under the bonnet is an agricultural 2.4 TDCI 90 horsepower diesel. The truck is actually for sale right now, priced at £28,930.
