Land Rover and Bowler Enter Official Agreement

Land Rover and Bowler have made their long partnership official, as Bowler EXR rally car and EXR S road car will proudly sport ‘Powered by Land Rover’ branding, wearing their British price where everyone can see it.

Both the EXR and EXR S use a modified version of the Range Rover Sport chassis, as well as the 5.0-liter V8 seen on regular Range Rovers. The EXR rally car uses a FIA-restricted naturally-aspirated version, while the EXR S all terrain supercar has a 550bhp 5.0-liter engine with supercharged grunt.

“We’re delighted to announce this partnership, which brings very positive benefits to both Bowler and Land Rover. We’ve only ever used Land Rover powertrains, and this relationship will give us access to current Land Rover technologies, and a great platform from which to support our racing activities and develop future models,” said Drew Bowler, Managing Director of Bowler.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
