Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Being Badly Loaded onto a Truck in Dusseldorf

One of only nine examples of the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is seen in these following two videos being loaded onto a trailer in Dusseldorf, Germany. It's a remarkably beautiful and rare car, but somehow, the transportation team is treating it like a regular machine.

The Veneno is extremely low, comparable to a race car. They should have driven it on a flat elevator surface and lifted it to the level needed to be moved on the truck. But instead, they just use wooden wedges. This isn't a Ford pickup truck; it's a carbon fiber exotic that cannot be replaced!

Lamborghini has only made nine examples of the Veneno Roadster, each costing $4.5 million (€4.14 million). But by the time it reaches the US, one of these will set you back closer to $5.5m (5.07 million).

Named after the Spanish word for poison, this fantastic machine uses a 750 horsepower version of the 6.5-liter V12, which is shared with the Aventador SV. It powers itself to a top speed of 356 km/h (221 mph).

The first time we ever saw the Veneno was at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. "Car Zero" as the first one was called came onto the stage, being the biggest surprise of the show. After that, the company CEO came and said it costs a cool €3.12 million and 3+1 examples (of the coupe) would be built.

The Veneno was designed in record time with total secrecy. It's built around a carbon-fiber reinforced polymer monocoque, which helps keep the weight down to just 1,490 kilograms (3,278 pounds). With one hp for every two kilograms, the Veneno can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. It's not as fast as the Koenigsegg One:1, but it's much more exciting to look at.
