Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, 1 of 9, Hits the Track with Lamborghini Race Driver

Nine. That is the number of Veneno Roadster Lamborghini has built. This is a special series that has come far, far away from its Aventador base, but that doesn’t mean the Raging Bull refrains from unleashing the machine on the track.

The footage below shows us Fabio Babini, a man who gets paid by Lamborghini to race the Huracan GT3, doing his thing with a Veneno.

The shenanigan took place on the Misano track, with the Veneno Roadster being put through its paces. Ever considered what the most exclusive way of putting the wind in your hair is? This track session is a good example, even if you’d have to find a way around the mandatory helmet.

Since this is a machine Lamborghini offered for $4.5 million and one that you can find on the used vehicle market for $7.4 million, don’t expect to see oversteer though the corners. You won’t.

Make no mistake dear readers, this is a valuable piece of Lamborghini track action

That being said, seeing such a collectible Raging Bull being track driven is still rewarding. Most of these cars will simply be used as poker chips, being traded back and forth between collectors, so you should enjoy this rare occasion.

Those of you whose senses are not fully alert shouldn’t be sorry about having missed out on the opportunity to buy a Veneno Roadster. Think about it - collector’s stamp aside, the Aventador Superveloce Roadster is a much better purchase.

The SV costs about ten times less and should be faster around a track, so why bother dreaming about that Veneno you can’t own?

Then again, even if you go for the Superveloce, you’ll be one of the 2,500 people who buy a Sant’Agata Bolognese machine each year, while the Veneno puts you into a totally different owners club.
