Lamborghini SUV project, the Urus, is still waiting to receive the official production green light, but this doesn’t keep the various reports from bringing us new details of the car.
Everybody is wondering if the Raging Bull will manage to offers us a setup that works both on and off the road, but the financial part of the deal is just as important and is you want one, you’ll be needing at least €170,000 (£135,000 or $207,000 at the current exchange rates), as Car Magazine writes. Lambo aims to sell around 3,000 units of its SUV per year, with the car expected to enter production in 2016.
The Urus will be underpinned by the same PL73 platform as the next Audi Q7, Bentley’s future SUV, Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg. This should allow the car to tip the scales at around 4,400 lbs (1,996 kg), as the architecture will use materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber.
The powerplant information area is still an arid one at this point, but speculation suggests that the Urus will offer around 600 hp to play with.
