Lamborghini Urus Racing Itself Is the Most Swiss Thing Ever

It's a Lamborghini truck invasion in Switzerland right now, as two Urus SUVs gathered at Ambri to dare each other and a bunch of other supercars.

The location is the most awesome little airfield ever. It's called Ambri, and we swear there was a Megane RS special edition launched here; we just can't remember which one. Tall mountains flank the sides of the track, creating an epic kind of scenery that you only get in games.

You're not going to observe anything important from this race, other than the Urus being a beast. You've got 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, making it a brutal acceleration machine that even supercars have problems dealing with.

Even though Lamborghini says it prefers hybrids over twin-turbo setups for its supercars, eventually, customers are going to get their way. I mean, imagine this setup in the Huracan!

Out of the two examples gathered at the Supercar Owners Circle 2018, the blue one kind of looks like what we saw towing a Huracan Performante recently. It could just be a coincidence, but considering both have Italian license plates...

And the driver is a little more eager to prove himself because he jumps the gun on a couple of occasions. Right now, it's hard to tell how the Urus compared to a V10 or V12 Lambo supercar. But it's a brutal speed machine that has surpassed our expectations. We don't know what's going to compete with it, but we want to see a race against the W12 Bentley Bentayga, as well as the eventual S-badged version of the Porsche Cayenne, even if it's a hybrid.

As far as the sound is concerned, it's perfectly fine around town, but the cars are on the airfield, the high-pitched Aventador SV dominates with its racecar-like soundtrack. So if you're a hardcore Lamborghini owner, you're just going to have to buy both.
