When honing the Urus, Lamborghini placed serious offroading abilities on the agenda. After all, the newcomer must stay true to the Raging Bull DNA and those genes include the LM002 legacy. However, when was the last time when you saw a Urus getting it on on rough terrain?
If we had to answer that, we'd mention the time when an example of the Italian toy went drifting on gravel. But the terrain underneath the car was the kind one could tackle with a Huracan. So we're back in the game of reporting on the matter, but this time around we've brought along some more serious offroading action.
Thanks to the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, you'll get to see the 650 horsepower monster getting sideways on some rather unfriendly terrain.
Note that the Urus needs a bit of a Scandinavian Flick to get the tail out and that's because the street setup doesn't allow the thing do drift without a bit of effort - this is obviously a safety net designed to keep unaware drivers from parking their Lambos up trees.
Then again, the one behind the wheel of this example knows a thing or two about hooning a high-octane toy. And that's because we're talking about Milos Pavlovic, a pro racer who drives for Lamborghini Squadra Corse, the racing division of the automaker.
However, with snow now upon us, we're expecting to see some winter action involving the Sant'Agata Bolognese SUV, as a skilled hand could put on a monster show when wielding such a twin-turbo V8-animated beast.
Speaking of motorsport, we'll remind the Italian automotive producer has already introduced a concept for a Urus racecar. And we can't wait to get our hands on more info on the matter, as we're all eager to see what happens past the concept stage.
