Four cars with big egos and even bigger names, a couple of celebrity drivers and a long runway - what's going to happen? Some fun, that's what. However, we understand if you're here just for the Lamborghini Urus and Tesla Model X.
Ever since the Urus made its debut, we've been hyped up to see a drag race between it and the Tesla Model X P100D. Drag Times made it sound as if the Lamborghini was in with a chance, but that's not what we saw in this video by CarWow.
But first, let's look at the contestants because these are above-average SUVs. You've got Mat Wason in the Tesla Model X P100D, a twin-motor drag racing machine that needs no introduction.
Yiannimize, the famous car wrapper from the UK brought along his chrome mint Urus. It's got a 650 horsepower 4-liter and is the lightest one here. However, the driver isn't happy about waiting an hour for the batteries of the Tesla to heat up.
And in the brand new Mercedes-AMG G63, we have Professor Green, the rapper. He's not a professional race but is doing an alright job of keeping the steering wheel straight and making fun of the Range Rover Sport SVR for being slow.
I just can't believe I feel bad for the people who just bought a €150,000 supercharged Range Rover. But the performance game is moving ahead so fast, which is what you expect when the models cost so much.
Anyway, the Tesla Model X wins both races convincingly, pulling ahead early with its insane acceleration that you can seemingly only get from an electric car. Mat hopes Elon Musk retweet this drag races, but he's too busy talking about the California wildfires and has probably banned from making controversial statements like "this Lambo sucks."
