Lamborghini Urus Base Spec Rendered as $150,000 Bargain

The Lamborghini Urus is the kind of machine that can keep aficionados talking for days in a row. And one of the most interesting aspects of the high-riding bull has nothing to do with its technical side, being liked to its price instead.
As the Sant'Agata Bolognese automaker announced when dropping the SUV earlier this month, the Urus comes with a starting price of $200,000.

This obviously makes the Urus the most affordable Lamborghini on sale. And if we factor in the 650 hp output (as opposed to the 610 hp of the "standard" Huracan or the 640 horses of the Huracan Performante) and the go-anywhere abilities of the high-riding model, things become even spicier.

But what if you could walk into a Lamborghini dealership and order a brand spanking new Raging Bull for $150,000? We are, of course, venturing into fantasy land here and we've brought along a rendering to back up this day-dreaming.

The image, which comes from pixel wielder X-Tomi, brings us a base spec incarnation of the Urus. The first element that strikes one has to do with the steelies of the SUV - hey, such rims mean one wouldn't have to worry about the potential offroading damage, right?

Then we have the non-color-coded elements, such as the front and rear aprons, the side skirts, the door mirror caps and the door handles.

The budget treatment could also be continued inside the car. And, if you're willing to continue down this path, it's enough to check out the cabin of a modestly-specced Audi Q7 to figure out what could be found inside such a Lambo.

We obviously wouldn't hold our breath for the Italian automotive producer introducing such a model anytime soon. After all, if you're looking for a more affordable performance SUV, you could always go for a Porsche, with Zuffenhausen having recently introduced the third-generation Cayenne.
