Lamborghini unveiled the Urus just in time for the 2017 Christmas and it didn't take the Internet too long to come up with tons of renderings portraying various extreme incarnations of the Sant'Agata Bolognese machine. And with the Urus now well into its second year, it looks like the world wide web hasn't gotten tired of such pixel play.
Let's take the image we have here, for instance. This portrays the Urus in uber-rugged form. As such, the Lambo has been gifted with a six-by-six conversion.

As if this wasn't enough, the machine is now a pickup truck. Of course, the new body style falls in line with the family tree of the Urus and yes, I'm refering to the LM002 here.

When the Italian automotive producer came up with its super-SUV, the company wanted to gift the machine with both asphalt and offroading assets rather than introducing a setup that would only work on the road.

Well, it looks like the example portrayed here has tilted the balance towards the rough stuff. At least this is what we can make of the beadlock wheel setup present on the vehicle - this type of wheels secure the tires (beefy rubber for this one) for when the terrain starts to act as an enemy.

Since we're talking about the Urus, I'll remind you that Lamborghini will eventually turn the nameplate into a complete family, as it has done with its supercars.

For instance, next year we'll see the debut of the Urus ST-X, a racecar set to compete in a one-make series comprised of both road and rugged land.

And while the ST-X could spawn a street-legal version like the Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale, keep in mind that an Urus prototype was recently spotted testing on the Nurburgring. Will this be a faster version, a plug-in hybrid or perhaps both? We should find out soon.
