Lamborghini Sponsors Italian Police Sports Association

Man, this Italian police officers get the best out of everything. They wear Valentino-designed outfits, drive Lamborghini Huracans to the rescue and what not. The latest achievement is related to Italy’s state police sports association, which will be sponsored by Lamborghini for the next two years. All these partnerships the supercar maker is closing sound like the company is trying to iron things out with the police always chasing speeding drivers and all (or not). It sort of all started with the Dubai police getting supercars. Slowly, these folks are building up an actual collection, which now includes the Lamborghini Aventador, the Ferrari FF, the Aston Martin One-77 and even a Bugatti Veyron. And considering officers even use Google Glass to catch the bad guys, there’s basically no chance what so ever to escape. If not the Italians, then who?
The event was attended by Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., Alessandro Pansa, Chief of Police, Francesco Montini, Head of the Fiamme Oro Sports Division, and two 1 photo

Italy is, after all, one of the leading sportscar and supercar maker, so it’s only normal they also send a couple of super fast babies to help out their fellows dealing with crime in the country. This May, Italy’s State Police got a brand new Lamborghini Huracan. The glorious blue Lamborghini Huracan Polizia Stradale crime-fighting supercar is as powerful as its “civilian” brother, with the same 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a rather quick 3.2 seconds.

And the long line of sponsorships continues

Lamborghini has just announced they will be the technical sponsor of Fiamme Oro, which is the state Police sports association, for the next two years. This means they will be supplying complete pre- and post- competition outfits. The new uniform comprises a tracksuit, polo shirt, jacket, cap and sports bags, in both summer and winter versions, in the official blue and crimson colors of the team.

According to its creators, the new outfit was designed by Collezione Automobili Lamborghini, the clothing and accessory line of the Sant’ Agata Bolognese firm, with the logos of both Lamborghini and Fiamme Oro on included on all items.
