If you spend enough time on the world wide web these days, you'll notice the Lamborghini Murcielago has grown in popularity. Of course, this also means prices will jump, but this is another story for another time. Right now, we're here to focus on a particular episode that demonstrates the rawness of the Murci driving experience.
You see, this V12 animal was developed before Lamborghini was acquired by the Volkswagen Group. And while this means the Murcielago was considerably more difficult to drive than the Aventador that replaced it (the latter benefited from Audi know-how quite a lot), it also involves a spicier time behind the wheel.
Well, the owner of the example we have here decided to take the monster by the scruff of its neck and throw it sideways.
As such, the first piece of footage below brings us a POV perspective, with the driver drifting the Lamborghini on the road. Note that the sideways shenanigans take place in first gear - this Sant'Agata Bolognese toy comes in six-speed manual form.
Oh, and for the record, the supercar seems to be on Saudi Arabian number plates.
And here's what the hooner had to say about the slip angle shenanigan: "Throwback to last summer. Mercy did this AWD. Can’t wait to see what she’ll do this year in RWD plus a nice tune,"
Now, zooming in on the driver's Instagram account, we notice a recent post (you'll also find this below) that shows the six-speed manual Lambo after the said RWD conversion has taken place. So here's to hoping its owner hits the track and demolishes those rear tires.
