Or, at least, how the first electric Lamborghini should look and feel like. Whereas, undoubtedly, the Italian manufacturer will eventually turn its attention to electric powertrains in the future, the car presented here is not theirs per se, but a design study of Andrei Avarvarii, a student at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.

The Minotauro is an electric vehicle powered by a couple of asynchronous 75-horsepower electric motors (on the front wheels) and two more 175-horsepower on the rear wheels. The motors draw their power from a Cerio Li-Tec Flatcell battery,

The fact the Lambo is no longer using a 12 engine in the rear leaves enough room for the addition of a third passenger seat, in the center of
the car. This third passenger gains acces via the single lambo door on the passenger side, while the driver climbs into the car via a normal door.

Avarvarii hopes the Minotauro will be available, sometime in 2020, complete with Real Life Online Gaming, a next-gen gaming system which will allow the driver to race on a real racetrack by using the onboard Playstation.

"Lamborghinis were never simple means of transportation; what more will they have to offer in the next decade? How will an electric Lamborghini be perceived ten years from now? What functions and requirements will it have to meet?" the student says.

"Minotauro was chosen as a name for the car after a brainstorming that identified one distinctive feature of the Lamborghini cars. That they are beasts you fight and let you live to tell the tale."
