Lamborghini LM002 SUV Ride

Now that Lamborghini has confirmed that it will give us an SUV - a concept that's expected to arrive at this year's Shanghai Auto Show in April, it is time to look back at the company's first attempt of building an SUV.
The Lamborghini LM002 came to the world in 1986, initially being intended for military use. The vehicle eventually found its way onto the civilian market, receiving multiple luxury goodies in order to cater to the needs of such customers.

Imagine it’s 1986 and you’re driving a Lambo Rambo (this is its nickname) with a 5.2-liter V12 engine delivering 450 hp - all eyes are on you! OK, the performance wasn’t quite worthy of the Lambo badge, as the vehicle needed 7.7 seconds for the 0 to 62 mph sprint and offered a top speed of 131 mph (211 km/h), but the mix of assets offered was more than attractive.

Retuning to present times, the Raging Bull is probably waiting to see the public’s reaction to the concept version of its modern-day SUV in order to give the green light to the production model.
