Although the end of the Gallardo lineup was announced back in December 2012 when the LP560-4 model was released, the Italian automaker has issued yet another special edition version as part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Called LP550-2 India Limited Edition, the new (yet still old) Gallardo will be built in only six units and sold exclusively in the Asian country. Powered by the familiar 5.2-liter V12 engine which delivers 540 HP and 540 Nm of torque, this special edition will be available in the three colors that represent the Indian flag: Arancio Borealis (orange), Bianco Monocerus (white) and Verde Ithaca (green).
Inside, the supercar will sport an almost entirely black theme with green, orange and white contrast stitching on the driver’s seat, the passenger’s seat and the dashboard/doors respectively.
Just as a reminder, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 can reach a top speed of 320 km/h and accelerate to 100 km/h from a standing start in 3.9 seconds.
