When we drove the Lamborghini Huracan, we got really excited on the road, but once we reached the track, we were overwhelmed by the unexpected level of understeer. We are now back on the topic to show you what happens when you mix this with poor driving skills.
The Huracan in the clip below was shot while enjoying some track time at Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands. The track, which, among others, is home to a DTM event, has many tricky corners, with the long hairpin after the main straight being one of the most difficult.

Anybody who’s been around Tarzanbocht (Tarzan corner) knows the camber allows for plenty of overtaking scenarios, but it seems the driver of this Raging Bull failed miserably when trying to pass the Audi RS3 “camera car”.

The man hits the brakes around the 150m line, but we’re not sure about how much pressure he applied to the pedal, since the deceleration wasn’t enough. The Lambo also taken what seems to be a wide line through the corner and this is where the human flaws end and those of the machine begin.

The understeering nature of the Huracan didn’t help the driver at all in this situation, with the Lamborghini ending up going off the track and onto the sand, getting dangerously close to the sand barrier.

Being very close to the sea, Zandvoort has issues with sand on the track more often than other circuits, so perhaps this issue was present here, but the sting outside the tarmac could've still been avoided by the driver.

The supercar thankfully managed to return to the tarmac without hitting anything, but this was one of the worst overtaking attempts we’ve seen this year.
