Racing look for the road: a trend set by Lamborghini itselfEspecially after Lamborghini released the Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale, the street version of the Gallardo racecar, many tuners started following that special edition’s visual trends.
To be more precise, we are talking about a carbon fiber armor for the lower side of the body and a fixed rear wing at the rear of the supercar. Yes, you are right, that is exactly what Vorsteiner’s preview shows.
Given the fact that Sant’Agata Bolognese explains the Huracan is fine without any form of aerodynamic extravagance (this doesn’t even include the Aventador’s small active rear wing), we don’t agree with Vorsteiner’s... aerodynamic tail for the Huracan. Then again, we all know such pieces are all about showing people you’ve got something different.
Yes, Lamborghini did start the game, but the Super Trofeo, where the... official wing inspiration came from, is a racer and the kind of speeds it constantly hits on the track demand such aerodynamic elements.
The wheelsVorsteiner already offers the wheels that will be included in its complete Huracan package and has chosen a Rosso Mars-finished example of the car to showcase these. We’re talking about Special Edition VSE-003 Forged Wheels.
These use a Matte Black finish and come in a size of 20x8.5 up front and 21x12 at the rear. The multi-spoke wheels are shod in Pirelli P Zero rubber, sized 245/30/20 for the front wheels and 325/25/21 at the rear. Interestingly enough, Rosso Mars was a color that debuted on the Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale.
From 610 horsepower to...Vorsteiner already mention its Aventador package when talking about the Huracan development, so we should see the modification go deeper than the skin. For instance, they took the Aventador’s V12 from 700 to 740 horses.
The tuner’s Aventador effort took about one year to complete, which means we still have a bit of waiting to do until their Huracan lands.
