Ever wondered how you can explain the fascination surrounding the drag racing realm to a non-car person? Well, we've brought along an adventure that might just do the job, with this involving a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and a Lamborghini Huracan.
At first, all you aficionados might expect this tale to revolve around the brutal execution that could be a drag race between a Hellcat and a Huracan. After all, the first is a machine that needs 11.2 seconds to complete the quarter-mile run (that time drops to 10.8s on drag radials, though), while the Lamborghini Huracan can play the game in 10.6 seconds or even quicker.

However, this is far from the case here. For one thing, none of the velocity toys reaches its true potential. In fact, this is a massive understatement when referring to the Italian exotic and that's because the driver of the Raging Bull totally misses the point - we're not judging here, as, for instance, anybody has to start somewhere.

Then again, it's pretty difficult to understand how one can extract so little performance out of the 610 hp supercar, since we're talking about a four-wheel-drive machine with a dual-clutch transmission.

Regardless, the Sant'Agata Bolognese toy and the Mopar machine put on a monster show. And a kid in the audience delivered his raw take on the matter. The little one happened to be close to the YouTuber who caught the whole thing on camera, so while we can't see his face, we get a complete aural take on his joy, from start to finish.

Returning to the Lamborghini Huracan, we'll remind you of an interesting situation regarding the V10 animal's drag strip performance.

You see, YouTuber Brooks, who runs the Drag Times channel and owns a Huracan, has shown us his Lambo pulling a 10.4s quarter-mile.

Then again, despite the Huracan Performante being out there for quite a few months now, no example of the special has managed to get close to this value.
