Neither the Lamborghini Huracan, nor the Mercedes-AMG GT R are fresh arrivals in the world of supercars. Nevertheless, these two velocity tools are guaranteed to put on a show, especially when thrown at each other. And we are now here to bring you a drag race involving the two.
The said status of the supercars might make one wonder whether these had been modified and the answer is negative - we're looking at a 610 PS Raging Bull and a 585 PS Affalterbach toy.

The two could hardly be more different, from their layouts to their colors - the Sant'Agata Bolognese is dressed in Roso Mars, while the Mercedes-AMG comes in Green Hell MAGNO (the name of the hue gets confused in the video).

Fortunately, this wasn't a street racing adventure, with the owners of the beasts deciding to take things to the track. And while this wasn't a drag strip (read: the supercars didn't get to enjoy a prepped surface), at least the two had plenty of space to duke it out.

The hostilities kicked off with a standing start and this is where the all-paw hardware of the Huracan gave the Italian exotic a clear advantage.

Nevertheless, the beasts also engaged in a rolling start challenge, which saw them going from 40 to 150 mph.

Any battle of the sort also involves an aural side and this is where the dominance of the Lamborghini Huracan was obvious. After all, the Lambo is animated by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10, while its German rival comes with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8.

If you happen to be in a hurry, you can jump to the 2:36 point of the video below for the racing action.

We'll remind you that the event which hosted this race also saw the Mercedes-AMG GT R racing a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, with the Lamborghini Huracan also battling the golden bowtie halo car.
