Even though it's the "budget" Lamborghini model, the Huracan is supposed to have everything a man needs to dominate on the race track. Right? I mean, you've got 610 hp from a V10 engine, more than any Gallardo has ever boasted. And yet here's a video of a Huracan being humiliated by much older, less impressive looking speed machines.
One of the highlights of this year's Unlim 500+ races that the Russians organized is a red Huracan, fresh off the factory floor. Its adversaries are a Porsche 911 Turbo (997 generation) Megion Edition Stage 2 with 600 horsepower and an Audi TT RS with the Revo Technik Stage 3 pushing the engine to 530 hp.

Both cars are impressive, but not in a way that would put the Huracan at a disadvantage on paper. So what happened that has rendered the mighty V10 supercar so useless? Well, for starters, the naturally aspirated solution is never the best one for drag racing. Many owners have witnessed the ferocious speed of the twin-turbocharged McLaren 12C and 650S, which is almost on par with the Huracan.

Secondly, the Huracan is a strictly stock car, while the 530 horsepower Audi TT RS appears to be… cheating. It's got a large diffuser, lowered suspension, duct tape covering all the panel gaps and some sticky drag racing tires. Still, any car that goes from 340 hp pocket rocket to supercar killer should be allowed to cheat.
