When we offered you a virtual ride in a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-5 Super Trofeo Stradale earlier today, we said that we expected Lambo to offer more special editions for the Gallardo until the Cabrera, its replacement, arrives and here we are writing about such a car.
China is the country that gets the new Gallardo LP550-2 GZ8 (the car is offered only there), with GZ standing for Guangzhou, an important city in the country and 8 showing the production run for the car.
The project was put together with Lambo’s dealer in Guangzhou, using the 550 hp version of the 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine, but, unlike most Gallardos, only sends power to the rear wheels.
The aura of the car is represented by goodies such as the custom wheels, generously-sized rear wing and eye-catching color scheme. In addition to that, the car comes with multiple carbon fiber body parts that save weight, such as the side skirts, the aforementioned wing and the engine cover.
If you manage to get your hands on one of the 8 units of the Gallardo LP550-2 GZ8, you’ll have to pay 3.88M yuan (EUR or $612,000) for it.
