While many consider there’s nothing wrong to how a Gallardo looks and feels, not all share the same opinion. Reventon seems to be the word of the day when giving a Gallardo a makeover is in sight, so the latest kit from Cosa Design is pretty much doing exactly that.

As we’ve already pointed out, the Cosa Design Lamborghini Gallardo kit is inspired by the Reventon, a model that made its debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The body in question comprises, as you can see in the adjacent images, a new front skirt and side sill set, a redesigned rear apron which includes a custom diffuser, two types of exhaust rear muffler pipes and a massive rear spoiler.

According to the specialists at Cosa Design, all these parts have a TUV certificate and are complemented by a set of 20 inch rims wrapped in Continental Sport Contact tires.

But this makeover, which might even qualify as the best we’ve seen yet, is not limited to changing the supercar’s appearance, as a boost in performances was also taken into consideration by the German-based tuner.

For example. a special coilover suspension allows the adjustment of height and stiffness, while the stainless steel exhaust enables the 5.0-litre V10 engine to develop and additional 20 PS.

This means that instead of 500 PS and 510 Nm of torque, the Cosa Design Lamborghini Gallardo is now capable of developing 540 PS and 550 Nm, and treat its owner with a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph).
