The Lamborghini Gallardo was far from the kind of machine that required changes in the aesthetics department. Nevertheless, with the V10 bull having made room for the Huracan, many owners of the replaced supercar are keen to keep their Italian exotics looking fresh. Well, the rendering we have here certainly hits the mark and then some.
Sure, this is but a pixel play, so no actually Sant'Agata Bolognese pieces were touched in the making of this image. But this Miura-faced Lamborghini Gallardo will certainly make one look twice and that's a bit of an understatement.
In fact, there might even be a bit of Huracan in that front apron, but the hood and fenders definitely have "Miura" written all over them. And, as always, the eyes never lie.
Heck, one might believe this is the result of the Gallarod using that age-up facial transformation app that's so popular on social media these days. But, thankfully for the car's privacy, it's not.
Instead, we're dealing with a rendering that has been pute together by Yasid Oozeear. This is a digital artist who loves his Internet-breaking melanges, as he has proven on so many occasions.
And while the moddle section of the Gallardo seems to have remained largely untouched, we can't say the same about what's going on behind the seats.
The engine compartment is now exposed and this isn't some unnecessary exuberance - people need to see that the engine has gained a pair of cylinders, along with an exhaust setup that could easily pass as a work of art.
Then we have the generously-sized rear wing, a crowd favorite. With the minimalist appoach brought by the taillights being strapped to the wing, one might think of the radical weight-saving philosophy of the Sesto Elemento.
And perhaps the craziest part of this Lamborghini is that some eccentric aficionado might just turn these pixels into reality someday - we'll certainly be back on the topic if that happens to be the case.
