Lamborghini Crashes into Luxury Showroom, Takes Two Ferraris Down with It

The one thing you must not let your mind linger on whenever you drive an expensive car that isn't yours is the price tag of said vehicle. If the sum of $200,000 were to pop in your thoughts as you were guiding a Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV through a tight bend, you could be seeing it in real life pretty soon. With a minus in front of it on your latest bank account balance sheet.

Another thing that you shouldn't bother your head with is the meaning of those two letters at the end. The stand for "Superveloce," which, in case that needs any translation, means you should be careful with the gas pedal if you haven't spent most of your time at the wheel in cars with 500 horsepower or more.

Also, thinking about the headlines in the media after you crash one of these cars isn't the most constructive thing to focus on. In fact, you shouldn't be thinking about anything other than the actual driving instead. It's not just that doing it in any other way is dangerous, but it's also a waste. It's a 750 horsepower Lamborghini, for God's sake.

Nobody knows what the poor fellow who crashed this orange Aventador here did wrong, but it sure was a costly mistake. As if going through a large window with the exotic Italian supercar wasn't enough, he had to dent one, possibly two Ferraris over on the other side as well. Nobody was hurt, but that doesn't mean the ambulance who came on the scene didn't have anything to do: the young man was in shock, and understandingly so.

According to The Mirror, the man was a photographer who took the car out of the Amari Supercars showroom in Preston, Lancashire for a photo shoot. Some witnesses assume he somehow activated the launch assist function because he simply took off towards that window, and there was nothing anyone could do. However, despite the fact that one of the Ferrari inside was a 1981 521 BBi Boxer, a rare and valuable collector's car, Saba Syed, the director of Amari Supercars, called the whole affair "a minor incident." Well, we sure hope the photographer heard her in time.
