Lamborghini has once again confirmed its one-make international motor racing series organized in three continents, with the new Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo featuring in all three series. Apart from the first draft of next year’s races, the Italians also confirmed the 2015 calendar for its three Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series in Europe, Asia and North America.
Each series will hold two races over each weekend round at one of the most prestigious circuits in the world, the Italian sportscars maker just announced.

Since they are considered the company’s replacement for the Gallardo, the Huracan race cars will share the grid with the Lamborghini Gallardo Lp 570-4 Super Trofeo and continue the format of this year’s racing that just finished in Sepang.

Lamborghini claims the 2015 World Final will have great locations, with each car racing in Sebring (Florida, USA) for both their sixth and final round of the season, immediately followed by the final race, due to take place in 21/22 November. As opposed to other years, there is also going to be a PRO class addition, echoing the one already existing in the European series.

The Italian car maker has also announced that Swiss watch manufacturer Blancpain will continue its sponsorship as the title partner of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, a collaboration running since 2009. Sponsors Pirelli and OMP have also confirmed their technical support along with the technical sportswear manufacturer X-Bionic.

Formula Junior Program announced

Since it proved to be quite a big success, Lamborghini Squadra Corse has further expanded its initiatives dedicated to young talent. The Young Drivers Program, which started this year, allows drivers under 26 to participate in one of the three Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series and to join Lamborghini Squdra Corse testing sessions.

For 2015, the company has announced there will also be a Formula Junior Program to support the selected teams, both in Europe and in Asia, to scout for the best talent involved in single-seaters.
