For the past couple of months, rumors that Lamborghini would be making a 2+2 coupe out of the Aventadror surfaced. They seemed so real that for a while, we forgot just how slowly these Italians develop new cars.
But today, the so called Aventador GT rumor has been proven a hoax, as Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann told Autocar this idea never made it off the drawing board.

The CEO says there’s a lot this italian company will be able to do with the V12 monster but adding two token seats is not going to happen.

Of course, the first new version will be the roadster, after that maybe the Super Veloce.

Stephan Winkelmann took the opportunity to state that he still hasn’t received the green light from VW to build the Urus SUV.
